Argentine scientists have found the remains of a new species of sauropod dinosaur, approximately 83 million years old, in the Patagonian province of Neuquen, the state research institute Conicet reported this week. The skeleton of the longnecked herbivore, belonging to the titanosaur group and named Yeneen houssayi, was found in an area known as Cerro Overo La Invernada, a region rich in paleontological remains.
